Work starts as planned on extensive refurbishment of Block A

Refurbishment works have started and are proceeding according to plan on Block A, which is earmarked for housing the new co-ed classes as from September 2014.

The works are extensive and include new waterproofing membrane, the removal and replacement of floor tiles in the entire block, gypsum plastering of all interior walls and the installation of new internal doors. Additionally new roller blinds will be installed on all windows and all classrooms will be furnished with new classroom furniture.

The works have started with the removal of all content by school staff who cooperated fully to meet deadlines. Actual works started during the first week of June and are proceeding as planned.

These works are being funded and administered by the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools under the guidance of Mr. Anthony Muscat and the project management of Mr. Pippo Giuliano. Many thanks on behalf of staff and students.
