Vivanda Food Festival

Three groups of Home Economics students; a Form 1 group, and two Form 5 groups, have participated in a food competition at the Vivanda Food Festival organized at the Bay Arena in St.Julians on the 15th of November 2013.

Each group prepared a dish using local ingredients. The students prepared the dish on the day of the competition at school, under the supervision of a Home Economics teacher.

The Form 1 group prepared the ‘Maltese Lasagna’, and the Form 5 groups prepared an open ftira resembling the Maltese Flag and Rabbit stew.

The students served their dishes at the Vivanda Food Festival, and all dishes were judged by professional chefs.
