More work on the Reconnect project

Last Wednesday, 11th May 2022, the Reconnnect group of students from our school met again after school hours, to be part of a training course organised by Prisms Malta. Students, together with our teachers Ms D Dimech and Ms L Camilleri, met young people from over ten different countries participating in an Erasmus project. The project revolved around the topics of human rights, migration, poverty, people who left their mark in social history and different challenging social realities around the globe. Our students and accompanying team leaders were divided into small groups and tried out original board games, created by this international group for the first time. Students enjoyed revisiting the same hotel that hosted them for six days back in November, learnt about different social dimensions, engaged in decision making and problem solving skills, provided constructive feedback, worked as a team and had fun too! At the end of the activity, the group enjoyed dinner together. The group now looks forward to other activities through which one learns to support, embrace diversity and live together!
