Dinja Waħda Reading Garden Project Officially Underway!

A collaboration between English, Maltese, Science and ICT teachers led by the Dinja Waħda Peripatetic teacher is shaping up to be a wonderful learning experience for our students. These teachers have been planning this project since last year and are now eager to start its implementation.
A previously barren plot of land at the heart of our school is being turned into a reading garden as part of this educational experience. Rubble wall based seating has been constructed thanks to a collaboration with PARKS within the ministry of the environment.
Friday marked the introduction of this cross-curricular project to the students who will be directly involved in it.
We thank all those involved and look forward to regular updates on this project. Well done to all and special thanks to Desiree Falzon, Dinja Waħda Teacher, Maya Dowling, English Teacher, Maria Vella, Maltese Teacher, Sherona Baldacchino, Science teacher and Antoine Psaila ICT teacher.
Thanks also to the Ministry of the Environment for their huge support, Mr. Borg, Assistant Director at PARKS visited us for the introductory meeting.
